Hi again,

Just found out that these shocks are so called Bilstein Sport. I reckon it's the springs that are at fault here, perhaps a set of RS springs would do the trick!?

Those are the Bilstein "heavy duty" replacements for the stock Boge shocks for 1990 C2's and 1989-1990 C4's. Those are the only strut/shock that Bilstein makes to replace the stock Boges (unlike for earlier 911's where there are "heavy duty" and "sport" models).

The xxxx-0385 is your front right shock, the left is xxxx-0384. The rears should be B46-1735 and these are indeed designated B6 Sport in the Bilstein catalogue.

Perhaps they are called HD in the US, confusingly?
