Post Front oil leak

On my C2 (LHD) 1990 I found a small patch of oil on the undertray just near the left hand side front suspension i.e. on the driver seat side. Any idea of what can cause that? I will take the car to a garage soon for oilchange so I would be keen to know more before the visit.

Thanks for a great site.

Ahh, just noticed that you now say LHD drivers side. Not sure what that could be then. Are you sure it's Oil? Could be water from the Air Con or perhaps Power Steering fluid?

Yup, bet it's the steering rack. As shaker says, push the boot, and see if you hear a squishy sound and/or fluid comes out.

Have you checked your power steering reservoir?
