Superb instructions Marc, very detailed right down to including the number of screw and clips is a great help, that way you know you haven't missed one!

I know this is an old discussion but I had a noise in my drivers door and today with your help I was able to fix it. Thanks for the great instructions.

Great write up Marc - thanks. Got a really annoying rattle in my passenger door so I'm planning on removing the panel this w/e and now I know how to do it!

I'm looking to tighten up the window regulator soon and this thread is great. I have a question regarding the clear film once the panel comes off. Should I use a hair dryer to warm it up on the edges so it comes off easier and should I apply some sort of adhesive when placing it back on the door?

It didn't re-seal very well for me and had to use some glue at the edges. Even then it doesn't seal any where near as well. Therefore I will probably replace mine (again) at some point in the future. So in my experience it's best to fit new ones.
