My wife and I are going to spend a week in the Bay area from Nov 3 to 10. We flying in and thus need to rent a car.
Does any one know where I might rent a Porsche Boxter or 911, Audi TT, or a BMW Z3 at a reasonable price? I've inquired at the locations over the net and quite frankly I could buy one of these car in about 20 weeks with prices they want.
Also are there any Porsche events taking place on November 3 or 4?

Can't help you with the car rental -- I've never been able to find one around here that's a reasonable price.
However, I can tell you that the Golden Gate Region of the PCA is holding an autocross from 10am to 8pm in Dublin (no, not Ireland, but in the East Bay).
