Default Air Jacks

I started to make the air jack supports for my car. I bought some thick wall exhaust pipe and some 16ga steel and TIG welded together the tubing so the air jack slides in and locks. The tubes will then be welded into the rear seat area and one in the front trunk and are all that lift and hold the entire car up. I made the front tube slightly smaller than the rear. You can see a plain air jack on the left, a 1/2 finished tube, the front tube, and the rear tube with an air jack installed.

Very cool - so, combined with your centre-locking hubs, are you just looking for some very short pit times at your next track day??

If you work on your car a lot the air jacks and center locks are cool. I visited a guy who had a 3.8 RSR one day.

He pushed the car out of the garage, inserted the jack wand and lifted the car then removed the 4 wheels with an air gun, all in around the time it takes me to find a jack point and jack up one side of my car.

Totally cool.
