Doug, I picked up a 90' Cabriolet C2 with 100K miles, new top, new wheels and tires in very good condition for $18K in Northern California. That doesn't seem like a steal on the C2 you are looking at for $17,500, especially given the mileage. You may need to broaden your search and travel a bit, but you definately can find some deals out there. Took me abour 2 months of intense searching. Go in an lowball the guy, I am sure he has at least $500 worth of wiggle room. Given the climate and time of year it is, he probably is going to be sitting on it too. I'd offer him $16K and see what he does. Good luck though, you will love the C2!

Thanks guys. I get my Boxster back Wednesday, so I'm going to focus on selling that and see where I am in terms of what I can afford for my next Pcar. It WILL be a 911...but that's all I know.
