Joe, what did you do with the kids...they weren't traded in for the 964 were they?

Besides the 964,
1995 Maxima- shocks, struts, downpipe, exhaust. hate the car and the mods aren't helping
1991 Toyota xtracab 4x4- headers, custom exhaust, snow plow...still slow but sounds great when plowing my driveway and doing 2 wheel drive donuts.
1985 Yamaha FJ100- 4 into 1, jetted, just plain fast, as fast as my brother's new R1. Classic machine, just like the 964.
1999 A6 Avant- wife's beater.
1986 Toyota MR2...go cart beater.
1994 Cub Cadet 1863, 48 in deck, Hydro, v-twin 18hp Kohler...another classic
Motobecane 10 spd and Specialized Mountain bike... great dust collectors.

As Jay said, the insurance guy loves me.

I often think (and get told by my friends) that 2 cars and one motorcycle are a bit excessive just for little old me. But after seeing some of the replies, I'm now thinking maybe I don't have enough vehicles and I should have a few more!

Here is my Teal and I during the one day course at the Bugatti Owners Club Presott Hillclimb near Cheltenham. The following morning I was driving to work and took a slightly wrong line through a bend. For a split second I looked up in case Roy Lane was watching and was going to make another sarcastic remark on the video.

This reminds me of a thread some years ago where the thread was titled something like 'How many cylinders in your household'? Predictably the Americans came out top, I think one guy came to about 82 cylinders in the house total, including 8 for lawnmowers, and another 16 on boats and the rest on various vehicles. IMHO thats just greedy.

I have just bought a Volvo 945 as a winter car ..
will repaint the 964 now after someone in my family(not me!) rearranged the front end and fender. So, I bought another car to be exposed to the salt and rock chips during the winter season. But, the 964 is still just a car..so I will use it as a daily driver when the winter is over..

In the summertime I ride motorcycles, mostly Indian
1944 Indian Chief

Also have a 1939 Indian project 1939 Indian project and currently restoring a 1943 ****** Jeep which has been in the family since the early '60s

OK - you know what I drive!

Plus:
Original Orange Clockwork/ RST forks
Ride 151
Tiga 257 bump/jump, Jason Polakow Wave, Local Hero MiniMal
Porsche Sledge

My vote for a nice idea for a daily driver: Mk1 MX5 - a reliable rwd convertible (that handles) for 3 grand.. if 2 seats is enough, that is. Keeping the original steel wheels, never washing it and drifting it 'round roundabouts should get rid of the hairdresser jokes.
Thinking about chopping the Merc and 2CV in for one, actually..

'Nuf respect to John B for having a Pace bike! Square section frame?
And Greg L - I never had you down as a sk8r boy! Street or ramps?

My vote for the best daily driver: Mk1 MX5 - a reliable rwd convertible (that handles) for 3 grand.
I was watching a repeat of Top Gear the other night and they had Anne Robinson as the "star in a reasonably priced car". The subject of MX5's came up and her view was :

"It's not even a hairdressers car. It's the receptionist at the hairdressers car".

Jonny,
I did a lot of street and miniramp skating in my teens thru to early twenties. Kind of stopped after i had half the cartilege removed from my right knee caused by a snowboarding incident
You?
