I believe Christer is right on the fitment issues with the 18" wheels on the previous page. That front is just a little wide (the smaller the offset, the more the wheel sticks out) but you probably won't notice any issues at stock ride height. I've actually tried 15mm spacers up front with a 7 x 17 wheel with 225 tires and a 55mm offset, for an effective 40mm offset. The added width caused fender rub under moderately hard cornering. My car was also lowered and rode on a relatively soft Eibach/Boge combo at the time.

The rears should be less of an issue but keep an eye on any inner rubbing.
