New 964 C4 Owner
Just thought I would introduce myself to the forum as a new 964 C4 Coupe owner. From Aberdeen, Scotland (cold, wet etc). The car has 50k miles on it, black with black leather/red piping, totally original, even the blaupunkt stereo! Have owned it for approx 1 1/2 months as a daily driver and love it, although can't wait for the summer as the roads here seem to be gritted daily...not good for paintwork!
I will take some photos and post them.
Cheers,
Ryan 964 C4

There must be Porsche C4 recent buying Syndrome. I also would like to introduce myself to the forum as a new 964 C4 owner. From Long Island, NY (currently snowing - expecting up to 16 inches!). The car has 34.5k miles on it, Midnight Blue Metallic with dark blue leather/medium blue piping, original as well, with optional factory "Flat" alloy wheels (928 style, I think).
One of the options was "Tourist Delivery". I assume this means the original owner was in Germany when he ordered and/or picked up the car.
Can anyone provide me with the definition of "Tourist Delivery"?
Thanks,
Pete

I think "Tourist Delivery" means the first owner collected the car from the factory, got a chance to drive it in Europe, then took it back to the factory and had it shipped to the buyer's home country.
I could be completely wrong of course!
I was thinking about doing this with a 997, but unfortunately Porsche Australia can no longer offer the sevice as the car would not be "new" when it arrived in Australia and they can only import "new" cars.

Welcome and enjoy the C4. Is it me or have there been a lot on new C2/4 purchases in the past couple of months? I picked mine up about 4 weeks ago and have seen several of these "New C2/4 Owner" post.
