For the smart shopper, fall is the best time to buy - at least in countries like Canada where sellers are not keen on storing all winter so there are good deals to be found. I assume that the UK would be similar.

The car market is pretty seasonal around here, especially for Porches.
David P - your right, the roads around Aberdeen are pretty spectacular, especially up Royal Deeside, I remember that in another forum the road from Aberdeen to Braemar was voted best in UK for enjoyable driving.....not best surface though!

Hi Ryan - fit like?

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you're the only other Scottish 964 on the board! About time..

Congrats all fellow newbies! Wonder if we're all baby boomers too..
Another one of those "Why did I wait so long to get one of these" things for me.

Yep, got my C4 in October last year and although I live in Berkshire, I'm really an Ayrshire boy!

Snowbird,
Strange you should say that but one of the reasons I got my 964 was because my wife has just had a baby, got her a SUV, thus the requirement for a 'more exciting' motor!....there was an interesting discussion revolving round the two rear seats....oh, and golf clubs don't go together with 964's.

Never had a problem with my golfset (just a simple small bag, irons only) in the 964, simply goes in the back. When I learn how to properly use a driver it may become a problem though...

Snowbird: Sorry, I belong to generation X! Was too impatient to wait till after I have children...

I'm a Gen-X'er as well -- but I do have a son (who loves the car!).

Ryan, Welcome to Rennlist. I am jealous that you get to drive your car year round. We have gotten 43 inches just this MONTH in Southern New Hampshire. Shot me now, spring is a long time coming my friends.
