And on the other side, you can see one of three power cutoff switches -- another can be seen on the cowl and the third is in the trunk.

P.S. You can also see a bit more of the diagnostic plug cover in this picture as well as some of the pedals.

Were you, or are you thinking of racing this car? I'd assume so if you added the weight of THREE cut-off switches...

One of the criteria for the car is that it had to have the equipment to be a "gentleman racer" which, of course, added weight (e.g., anti roll bar, 4 liter fire extinguisher, cutoff switches, tow hook, fuel cell, calipers able to accept 26 mm pads, etc.) -- think of it as a clubsport package or what would permit an amateur to run a 24 hour race. And, yes, even hood and engine compartment safety latch pins!

My life as an amateur photographer with a five year old camera. As to the wing, it is a genuine factory Type 964 3.8 RS/RSR wing with the blade being made from carbon fiber thereby reducing overall weight by 5+ pounds. On a side note, in my more foolish days, I asked the factory to prep and paint the piece to be as nice as a metal body panel and the prep work alone took approximately 100 hours.

I love how you only take pictures of a tiny area... you can't give away the entire view!!!

Those are beautiful inlet scoops - you don't have so much as a single rock chip on the front end!! How many miles are on the car?

I see a purple gas flap as well - I bet that has the porsche crest on it...?

The car has approximately 350 miles on it. Yes, the gas flap has the Porsche Crest embosed into it -- and a pocket to hold the gas cap.

It looks like you keep that car in your living room!!! It's just SO clean! Thanks for all the pictures and continued updates - it is really fun to see this interesting and impeccable example from a true enthusaist. And, unfortunately, I am on the wrong coast to see its entire unveiling in person. Hey, you should put several thousand miles on it and come to California!!

Titanium bolts would not be strong enough for this purpose.

Robert,

amazing C/F craftsmanship as usual - your car reminds me of a real-size toy car - spotlessly well kept, with so much detailing, and such a unique color combination - I'm speechless! I would hate to imagine the total cost so far!

Keep up the excellent work!

Happy New Year

Robert,
Have you routed the vents to the brakes? If so, did you manufacture your own kit to do so (in some exotic material, no doubt)? Thanks for all the pics! Can't wait for it to be unveiled!
Brian
