Default Anyone want a strut brace? [UK]

Free to good home. One strut brace supplied unfitted by Phil Raby when I bought his C4. Remained unfitted when I sold said same C4 and new owner had about as much intention of fitting it as both Phil and I had shown so left it with me. It is now "relaxing" in my lock-up and anyone who's prepared to come and collect it can have it. Free, gratis and without payment. You do need to come to Maidenhead though...

Sorry - I have no idea if it will fit a C2 (having never fitted it to my C4 never mind a C2!) Perhaps someone else can offer an opinion or you can take it away and pass it on to someone else on here if it doesn't fit?

TBH it might not even fit a C4 - it might be a sick joke of Phil Raby's to leave a strut brace for a 2CV in the car and watch me post on Rennlist about how I can't figure out how to fit the strut brace...

Mike,

If ... and I say, IF, it's designed to fit a C4 it will also fit a C2.

What's the story behind passing the C4 on so soon??? Didn't like it?? Phil Raby seemed to rave over that car and with the work that had been done on it I would have expected it to be a "keeper".

Regards

Dave

Let's hope that Phil Raby's sense of humour isn't that bad!!!

If it doesn't fit my C2 i will offer it to any C4 owner!!!

Best regards

I am sure it will fit with the same caveat as above...

Thanks Christer! Let's just hope it's not for a 2CV

Hi Dave. No, nothing to do with the car, more a "life change event" that meant I needed to change to something more practical (hence the T5 Estate). A combination of things, one of which was a decision to get a dog. I actually just picked him up on Saturday and I'm already beginning to realise that not only is a 964 a lot simpler to look after, it works out a lot cheaper as well....

Mike,

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity!! I wonder how long it takes, on average, for an ex-Porsche owner to seccumb again???

If the 964 was cheaper than the dog it's got to be one hell of a dog!!!

Regards

Well just to get started it's £25 a week for the services of a dog walker!
