Hi all...my first post!!

I've only had my C4 for a week and I have some way to go to get it looking pristine. I've been really inspired by the pics of all the beautifuly cars here and it gives me something to aim for.

Hi rotorheadcase, where are you from?
Those look like koala food in the background and the P car looks RHD

Hi Michael,

That is indeed the Great Southern Land in the background. I'm over in Perth...or rather the car is. I live and work in the Middle East at the moment and it's breaking my heart that I'm here and it's over there. Coincidentally I lived in Sale for 3 1/2 years flying out to the Bass Strait platforms. I have very fond memories of Sale...

Christian, that is a sweet looking car....the front splitters look really good and I'd like to put them on mine at some point.

What seats are those?? Are they custom retrimmed? The side bolsters look very deep for standard Carrera seats.

So many goodies, so little money!!

Regards,

Neil

This is one of the longest threads on the 964 chapter, surely some of the newbies can post a picture in here.

NinetyOneC2:
I really like the down painted rockers. I never quite understood why paint the lower part black (other that chips+dirt). The addition of the body color down under makes the car look even lower. Nice picture.

thanks. it does help lower the car visually - the car is actually at stock ride height.

i didn't really notice them when I bought the car - only thought it looked good. seems that very few have this treatment.

in fact there are constant querries in the 997 and 997tt forums about painted rockers - most can't even figure out where they are...even the sales reps don't seem to know what it means. it would, in fact, be helpful if the porsche.com online configurator changed the rockers to body colour when the virtual box is ticked.
