Crivens,.. Your three photographs say it all, and of course a little due respect for you, but not too much, because like the colour of your 911/964, you’re liable to blush, and glow.. So, Merry Christmas and all, The Best... Marc .
PS. That Red piping on the Black leather, red carpets and absolute perfection through out, really.. Top of the Pops!!..

Why thank you for the 'blush' praise.
I have to say I only every wanted a Red 964 with Cup1s
This was the first car I looked at and bought it on the spot.
169000miles it had, LW flywheel, springs and a factory LSD.
The carpets were factory red also - all I did was drive it and polish it.

I think I lucked out on the spec of the car with the LSD, whoever owned it before me had hammered it in mileage but also hammered his wallet spending around £20k over 5 years on servicing and bits, tyres, brakes, tyres, brakes, clutch, tyres, brakes.

I thought it was a track day queen, but I dont think it was.
I rebuilt the engine myself just before I sold it on, I hadnt seen anything of it for about 2 years then last week it rolled up at Ninemeister and was promptly put on a jig. I think the owner tweaked it against the armco - nothing major i dont think.

Fantastic car.
I named my website after her.

Pzull,

Good to see you on Rennlist again and back in a Porsche. Didn't you buy a NSX or was it Ferrari after you sold the 964? I really like the 965!

Agreed. Love the 965 and would like to see some more pics but that 964 is one of the best NAs I've seen. Dual exhaust, the calipers, the wheels (Ruf?), lowered stance, my favorite color....what a car!

Peter when did you sell the C2? From your sig it appears you have been having all types of adventures?

Hi Howard,

Yeah, a bit too much adventure I'm afraid. Going faster around the track and the fear of crashing my daily commuter made me realize I needed 2 cars. So I sold my C2 about 4 months ago and bought the '71 911T to build for the track and a Lexus for daily commute. The 928S4 in the sig is another story, let's just say I "innocently" ventured into the other side. But honestly, the 928S4 is one hell of a track car, just a bit too powerful for me right now!

Howard/Peter,
Yeah it was an NSX, still have it but will be getting rid of it when the 965 gets done. This time will only concentrate on performance and forget about cosmetics.
But a waste to sell the NSX cos I've done alot to it (new transmission, suspension, air intake, abs, engine overhaul, total exhaust system (same design as the 964))....I just cant leave well enough alone....but discipline will prevail with the 965.

I can't wait to watch this one develop. Great to see you back!

Peter - I would love a pre-'74 911, not for the track per se, but just to have and hold if you know what I mean. I love the early cars.

I am surprised you sold the C2 though....
