Hard to tell in that light I don't think it is Midnight Blue so I would guess Ocean Blue.

How was the rear visibility? Looks lowered, any idea what modes were done?

Alan> Yes i took the photos, thanx.

It is a 1992 3.3 turbo. It was sold as one of the cheapest 964 turbos ever in sweden.

Anthony> No sorry dont know really. My friend bought it modified from germany and he was´nt really interested, just wanted a fast car.

Paul> I promised the owner to not tell any prices.

I just talked to the new owner and he told me this car now is in mint condition, new paint, renoveted engine, full model fitted cage (do you say cage?), sport seat and so on. Sounds brutal

Stunning-looking turbo John!

Anthony I think it looks like Midnight Blue - this colour can appear/look anything from black met to purple depending on lighting conditions and picture angles.

Best regards

My original thought was Midnight Blue which is one of my favorite colors. However I know people with both Midnight Blue and Ocean Blue and side by side they are very similar except the Ocean Blue does not change to purple as your beauty does. I did not see enough purple in the paint to justify it as Midnight, thats why I am guessing at Ocean Blue. Could be wrong, very hard to tell.

I checked for all the available 92 colors and ocean blue wasn't a choice... This is a screenshot of what I got.

From the other pictures, I would definately have to go with midnight blue

Looks like it must be Midnight Blue. Although here are 2 pics one is Midnight Blue and one is Ocean as you can see it is not easy to tell the difference.

They both look the same until they get in the bright sunlight and then the Midnight does wonderful things. the same thing happened with the newer version of Cobalt same base but no purple flake anymore.

I got it from www.paintscratch.com You can search all available colors for a given model year, or my paint code, or by name. Its pretty cool.

hey Chad,

that colour chart is pretty amazing. The Amazon Green doesn't really look anything like the colour of my car but i guess that always the case with thes charts - the colour on the car looks heaps better don't you reckon?
i also noticed that there are two Amazon Green Metallic Clearcoat colour plates with two different number codes. whats that all about i wonder. i'll have to check what the colour code is for my car.

John, the pics of that Turbo on the link you sent are absolutely Awesome!
cheers
Al
