Judging by the third picture, it is pretty clear that you will not be able to lower your car because the wheel/tire will hit the fender. You can put a 18x15 on if you do not lower the car but that doesn't mean it works.

Without a custom offset wheel like a HRE or Kinesis or similar, the widest you can go and safely tuck is a 10" wheel.

Those rear wheels are just huge. Man. That's a lot of rubber.

Don't know about you guys but I think that those wheels really are to big for a NB 964. I think that just lowering the car with 18" wheels would have looked cleaner and nicer.
The handling of the car just can't be good with those rubbers.
Just my 2c

I will deffinately have to agree. It is to much and lowering the car is way out of the question. Even with the 17x10's there was no way I could lower it because those tires were already scrubbing at stock hieght, but this could have been resolved with smaller tire sizes. Another negative point to the 18 x 11's other than asthetics is the handling. The car pushes ( too much rubber on the rear) during accelaration out of the turn. The 17x10's were not as bad but I think the extra sidewall hieght is what helped them.

Jeremy,
ha,HA,haha, LOL That's a really innteresting observation you've made there. Yes the tags have been changed. I found it to be more difficult for people to remember than the personalized tag. Like most of us I'm sure, I do my fare share of speeding. Unfortunately there are others who would love to see a Porsche with a cop car behind it. I've actually been pulled as far as 2 counties after the one someone saw me speeding in. This has happened 3-4 times in the 5years I've had this car, and everytime the cop says, the tag gave you away. Beleive it or not some people do not even know what a Porsche is, but they could remember that DAMN TAG. So, I changed it.
OH, sorry if I disappointed you, but no tricks.
