Humpty Dumpty is on the ground assembled. In two weeks, it will go for a bit of extra special work related to ongoing weight reduction R&D. On June 30, 2009, I hope to have it in Colorado for the Porsche Parade.

Just went back to Adrian's book - "cabriolet roof fitted with an electrically operated sunroof"
Please keep us informed of your progress - amazing work!

No pictures available now. However, it will be in the NJ-NY area for a few weeks before going west. If anyone would like to see it in a still a bit raw state, please contact me at rdlinton@cartridgelimited.com.

"If anyone would like to see it in a still a bit raw state"
Am I the only one who doubts the validity of this statement? If that's the case, I have my work cut out for me to even get in the same state as raw. Robert, the car is beyond words, and I can't wait till Colorado! Best of luck.

I would love to see the car, I have been waiting a long time since the last scheduled unavailing.

I saw Humpty Dumpty
Yesterday Robert was gracious enough to allow me to see first hand the most amazing collection of cars I have seen in quite some time. I have seen collections with over 100 ultra rare cars but nothing comes close to the 4 cars Robert has in his little collection.
Not only does he have 4 cars I would consider in their stock form as tops on my list but the work his company does is pure art. Each has been skillfully modified incorporating state of the art cutting edge technology to a level so advanced that you cannot help but be in awe.
In simple terms the pictures do not do the work justice. Best of all Robert was kind enough to tell the complete story behind how he acquired the last of the slope nose 930 turbo cabs an if it were a stock car it would be priceless in itself but the pages of options and detail that went into this car is outstanding.
Humpty Dumpty has to have one of the richest colors I have ever seen. I love my Cobalt blue but this by far is a superior color and the interior which I did not feel I would like is not only unique but easier on the eyes than I expected.
Unfortunately, I could not take pictures nor could I do the car justice if I could but it is truly gorgeous and there is not a thing that was done to this car that is nothing short of inspirational. Being in manufacturing and seeing the level of detail up close has set a new bar for perfection.
I would like to thank Robert for his generosity and time to share with me a true modern work of art and every car guys idea of a dream car garage.
BTW he has also done some serious work on his BMW Z8 Alpina

These are the only pictures I was allowed to take, the 930 is amazing even the tire pressure gauge is covered in leather and has a leather face with silk screened numbers.

I am going to Colorado, It will be fun to see this car in person.
Are you going to be entering the Concours ? if so which class. I am entering in Touring, but looks like I will not be in any contention if your entering that class...You should enter full class !
