Well... guess what... I go to the garage this morning... and sure enough... my car had an erection last night... ...spoiler in the up position. The only thing different that I can recall is taking the cover off the motorcycle (sexy motorcycle but enough to cause that impression on the car, I don't think so...). ohh and the car is up on a lift with the tires off...
So... what would cause an erection in our cars?? I have a normal radio... no complex installation nor amp, cd changer or any of that stuff... ...brake sensors are removed at this time while I do the pad change and paint the calipers... I did turn it on on Saturday without the sensors (I hope that does not throw an error code since I don't have the Hammer to reset it... ).

I have just kinda learned to live with it. Seems that there is a control unit, I believe under the passenger seat -or mabey under the dash- depending on the year- and there is constant voltage to the unit. Anyhow, I believ that a contact gets tired, and causes this. On my car, if I drive it more often, It will "heal" itself for a time. Let me know what you find...

It is almost always a blown or leaky transister in the control unit - a cheap fix that I have posted. Cars with this problem will also have a battery drain problem - the relay coil is always powered. I have a working spare - PN 911.618.112.00. It is the early version, but seems to work fine in my 92 C2. Send me your's and I will fix it if you prefer.

On both man & machine...
(Your car is fine -- suggest you 'treat' the causal agent.)

I still have it - it is sitting in front of me. I sent you PMs and never heard back. I posted asking if anyone know how to reach you. Glad you are back, and the original deal is still good (50-50 split if anyone buys it).
