"Rubystone"

Well.... there's a color you don't see every day.

[fingersnap!]
Hey! Isn't that the Barbie-car color?

IIRC, rennlist member 38D (Colin) in the Racing/DE forum owns a Rubystone 964 Euro Cup.

A number of Euro Cups were done in Rubystone. You are right Lewis, Colin does own one and is stupid fast in it. His car is worth 2x-3x the value of an RSA.

I'd take that car in a heartbeat, whatever the color. But, I'm probably different that many in that I favor unusual colors provided that the color was available for the car originally when new. In the Triumph TR6 range, there was a color called Java which was similar to the lime green of early 911's. Very few TR6's were made in that color (for obvious reasons) but I have always wanted to find one just because they are so rare. Unfortunately, many of the Java TR6's were painted red by later owners. Everybody has red TR6's (like mine)....

Man, I'd have to think long and hard about that decision, regardless if it's a 964 cup.
