Without doublechecking with PET, I believe it is the same physical part, just superceded with a 993 P/N.
A lot of 964 parts have been renumbered with 993 P/N's.

Robert,
Yes, the replacement 964 clock does start with 993. I know of at least one 964 replacement part (the CCU) that has a 993 prefix, but doesn't fit a US 993. So, I'm not certain if the 964/993 prefix clock fits a 993, without checking PET. Though, I suspect they're the same.

The only differences are the #4 & #7 lights. The 964 doesn't use #4 but the 993 uses it for the immobilizer and with #7 the 993 doesn't use it but the 964 does for "trailer turn signal" Are you making titanium gauge faces? Atomic clock for an automobile? Looking forward to seeing your car!
