I'm running a set of Toyo RA-1s for the first time on the track, does anyone know what a good cold pressure to start off from. I understand that I should get to about 38 hot.
Thanks

Not sure if you meant to post on this forum, but if you are running a 964, my understanding is that 30 f / 32 r would be good cold numbers to start with. I haven't run the RA1's but read that high-30's is the optimal operating range for our cars.
If you don't have a pyrometer, check the before and after pressures and try to keep changes within the 6-9 psi range, i.e. if you start at 30, you'll want to end the session from 36-39 psi. Less than a 6 psi gain suggests that your cold pressure is too high; greater than 9 psi and you're probably starting too low. In either event, adjust your starting pressures 2 psi up or down as needed.
