I've been told my car once had 5,000 miles on it! I've got 125,000 on it and just got my first oil leak!...and its a return hose and not from the engine! Got to drive them and drive them all the time. The cars live for the road. By the way, the leak occurred after I had let it sit for 3 months while on extended travel... Otherwise, virtually nothing ever goes wrong with it. My key almost doesn't work anymore due to the wear....keep the seals well lubed.

JoeW - that's a big reason why I could no longer stomach racing the 65 911 I had - I was too afraid I'd ruin a "museum piece" if some ding-dong hit me in a race! It was the 327th 911 ever made... now my C4 coupe on the other hand can take a beating and I'll be smiling the entire time!!! At 93000 miles, miles and rock chips don't matter anymore!!

That low mileage 964 is pretty neat, in concept. It's probably in just as bad of shape as most 964's with regards to suspension bushings, engine leaks, etc. Now the body and leather might be pretty sweet!! I'd trade my C4 coupe for it... maybe...

Hi Piers

I live in Jersey, have not heard about this one, what garage was it. Would not mind having a look at it. His only problem now is getting a good mechanic in Jersey to look at it. Would not go near the OPC my self.

I did come accross a 964 targe with 30k full service history for 13k a couple of months ago, not unusual for Jersey

Cheers
Rob

Hi Piers

If you find out, let me know, would be curious to find out the story behind it.

Cheers
