This is a very subjective question, but I'm wondering what everyone's favorite exterior/interior color combinations are. I've seen a lot of gorgeous dark blue 964s for sale, but can't quite get past the blue/grey interior. I usually like Porsches in silver, but not this model.

My favorite is Grand Prix White/ Black (but I am biased). However, a very, very close second would be the Dark Blue or Black with light interior (gray or tan) although I'd hate to try to keep a light colored interior clean.

I am also biased - but IMHO the choice is Amethyst (kinda Purple & red metallic) and Black - As my daughter says "Purple & Black are cool".
Lots of others agree, as I get comments every where I go. "Great color" says a fellow at the gas station Saturday.

For me it would be Polarsilber with Lichtgrau interior or black! That would have been, at leat for me, an absolute dream combination! Second is midnight blue with grey interior (that's what i finally got), Third would have been Riviera Blue with black leather!!

I find metallic green exterior stunning, with dark blue a close second.

As for the interior, I prefer beige as in my car.

I've not found it a problem! In some ways it's probably better as you can see the dirt & clean it off before it starts to build up. I used to have a Black on Black C4 and found it a little drab on the interior - one of the reasons I changed it to my C2.

I like dark interiors and either a bright colour or dark grey metallics on the outside. Pinstripes are a bonus...

This might not be my favorite, but it is unique. All leather including the guages and air outlets. Factory special order.

I would die for a grey metallic (polarsilber) with a red interior 964. I've seen one only once in my life. I couldn't stop looking at it.

Silver/Burgundy Red
DarkBlue/Gray
Black/Black
Silver/Black
Seal Gray/Creme (or whatever that creamy light colour is)
Light Metallic Blue/white
Speed Yellow/Green (I would never drive this car, but WHAT ***** you'd hafta have, eh?!)

When I first saw my interior, I really liked it (Baltic Blue over Silk Gray). Not the best pic, but...

I had a 1991 964 a few years back and loved the combo: midnight metallic blue and light grey interior. It was gorgeous. The dash, door sills, steering wheel and headliner matched the exterior blue. But gheez, it was such a hassle to keep clean!

I used to like black, but had a black Mercedes with black interior. The engine temperature gage was half way to operating temperature after sitting in the parking lot all day. I had to keep towels in the car just to keep from burning skin on the leather seats.

Now I like white with any light interior. I am no aesthete - simply like the fact that it looks cleaner than it really is, and is cooler in the Summer.
