That is a 1991 VIN (M=1991) C2 or C4 Coupe. Factory head gaskets on engine number 06836 and later (M64/01) or 52757 (M64/02 w/tiptronic), approx June 1991. Since the US VIN range went up to 1608, the VIN you posted is later in the model year.

To what I can see in my book, range (for the last 5 digits) is from 10001 to 18000 for 1991, but I don't know if 11571 means begining of the year...
