Default Front oil cooler blower question

Noticed today every time I stopped the car the blower up front blowing off and then on every second or two.. Is this normal?

Which side? Did you have your A/C on?
If you answer left and yes, then your A/C "thermistor" is shot. What you hear is the default behaviour of the A/C evaporator fan when the low speed circuit is disabled.

The oil cooler is on the right side, unless you've got oil temps above ":50" you shouldn't hear the fan.

I think your resistor is broke. It's a white coloured circle looking resistor made of srt of 'stone looking' material. It has two wires. It's installed on top of your cooler. The condesor of the a/c [if you have this] has a same sort of resistor instaled on the same location.
