Finally, using the paint recommended by Pesty, managed to get round to painting the lights, much much better result this time !

Thanks all for your advice with this !

So all ready for driving to Le-Mans next week !

Yep, and they also make the compatible UV resistant high gloss clear to cover it with.. great way to go. Two cans of each from here (most likely one of each is plenty) - http://store.artcity.com/kry-9020.html and http://store.artcity.com/kry-1305.html
cost me $28.20 + shipping. Concidering my last set of tailights/reflector cost me close to $800 I guess $50 (with compound) isn't too bad..

Craig, looks like you need to rub those out a lot more, they should reflect like glass when your done.

I'm going to have to do this; the Turbo 2 I'm picking up this week has got really bad faded rear lights - they're almost salmon pink!
