Not a chance Porsche will allow this. Even Dynacorn has to license their 'replacement' bodies with Ford and GM.

You guys think these guys in China care about IP infringement? LOL. They're already reproducing several old school JDM cars as shells. This is pretty cool.

Of course 'these guys' don't. Porsche does (which is the point), especially given their significant presence in China which up until a few years ago, was their #1 market in sales (now #3).

Go ahead and order a 964 body shell and tell us how it works out for you.

China has been stealing from the US for much longer and much bigger companies. These guys will do as they please. Maybe they'll stop and a new shop will open up, rinse and repeat. I'm sure they'll face some troubles, but I'm also not sure they're selling these with badges either and no vins.
Who knows how accurate they may be...

You can buy enough parts to build a tub yourself. Having the jigs and equipment to make them properly is another story. I am sure they can get away with it in China but that does nothing for the rest of the world.
I doubt they build them like this anymore. You have to wonder if they use the correct alloys as well.
