I obsess about everything on the car. Adrian's book has helped me find more things to worry about. Main fears - DMF, dist. belt, AC wtih r-12. But I try to have perspecitve, these are really only money troubles that can be repaired. Not everything in life is that way. If all I worry about is a flywheel, then I've got it good.

Suspension- replaced
Alternator- replaced
Clutch and flywheel- replaced
Valve springs and retainers- replaced
Little bits and pieces- replaced as needed
Brakes and tires- replaced regularly....

Next up: Synchros- (the one between 2nd and 3rd gear is starting to fail....)

May be a tiptronic is the next option for you SUF TWANG.........

I love to hear you have fun with the car, great! How about a little voice inside your head who says, TWANG......twang.......listen to the wierd sound in the back............. Hello.....anyone home???????

Everythings! but i figure something will go sometime... so I just drive it everyday just to see what's will go wrong! a year went by nothing yet!(knock wood)

The best thing to get rid or all your worries about the little noises and rattles in your 964 is a good stereo system.

Turn up the volume on Meatloaf or something equivalent (absolutely no rap or ooomf-ooomf music) and drive it on.
