What a Morning :-) The next Gen 911 lover is born
I love driving. I love driving 911's even more than anything else.
I have 17 year old twin daughters and I've been teaching them to drive a manual.
This morning one of my daughters and I took the 964 Into the mountains so she could experience
rowing gears on a twisty mountain road for the first time. She did great and absolutely loved it.
Her car is an old 535 BMW and she said she loved how you could feel every bump and had to use her whole arms
and legs to drive compared to her car where it feels more like a video game. She gets it :-)
A serious dream come true for a dad. To be able to share this with the kid is just amazing.

My girls have been riding in 911's with me since they were 3. They've gone to track events and I taught them both how to drive.
She was more worried about the car than I was. Yes. it's my baby but the joy of riding shotgun and feeling her realize why I love them so much was worth it.
Plus, she knows she has major cool points to all of her friends, especially the gamer bois.
They're both A students and pretty awesome young women. I've been looking forward to this since they were in the womb.

Funny you should mention that. We were just looking at the schedule last night.
There's an outfit that does a Teen driver coarse at Pacific raceways. 1 Hour class followed by obstacle coarse followed by some instructed laps on the track.
After that we'll search out some autocross. But they're not doing that in my car LOL.

I have twin 4 year old boys. We go everywhere in my 911 turbo. There's nothing better than just driving around aimlessly...

My son grew up in the back of my 94 turbo always asking for more Turbo Boossht!! Such simple days. Then years of being brought to the track. Now he is faster than me on track in my 964 track car. If it wasn't for these cars I would have far less time bonding with my son who is about to turn 26. Enjoy every moment of this. Life's memories that nobody can take away from you.
