Default 3D printed mount for XM receiver

I'm already wearing my firesuit in expectation of all the flames I'm gonna catch for this but here it comes:
I love my retro Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46, but I was missing Satellite Radio. But where to put a XM receiver without tacking it to the dashboard?
I finally figured out a good location: I modeled and 3D printed a holder, that replaces the ashtray and voila! Doesn't block the buttons and is nicely "out of the way", easy to reach, and is rock solid.
This might also be good location for a phone mount by the way.
The .STL file is available to download for free: please go to www.997research.com and click on "SHOP". Then "purchase" the file for $0.00 and after that, you get a link to download it.
And by the way: the receiver only looks slightly tilted in the picture because I took the photo from an angle.

Printing now - will put up the results here.

Many thanks for this - very generous of you - I plan to use it as a phone mount so it may need a couple of iterations to get it right.

Cheers

Mark

Nice work, no flames here. The ashtray is pretty pointless these days, might as well put it to good use.

Why not just stream from your phone? I use the rennline magnetic mount that attaches to the clock (but I replaced the weak magnet mount with a cradle).

Well, I love to keep things simple.
I just want to step in my, start the engine and go.
I got tired of making sure that Bluetooth works, opening the app, finding the station...
But that's just me.
