Default 93 RS America on BAT History?

This Rs America is on BAT with a couple hours left. With no history on the accident, how much would that affect value? Does anyone know this car? Kind of late to the auction and thought I would try.

How long is a piece of string?

But seriously, future value is unknowable. I suppose you could perform some type of ex-post price analysis, looking at similar historical comps (if they exist; for example, I wouldn't compare a '73 RS to an RSA; an ROW RS would be a better comp) to asses current values of cars with "clean" histories vs. ones with accidents, and use that as proxy for estimating future value. But even that is fraught with problems as there's too many variables.

For this specific car, my risk tolerance dictates I wouldn't bid unless I put eyes on it through an inspection. YMMV.

The best approach is to buy the best car you can afford and always assume it'll depreciate. Good luck whatever you decide.
