Got a new CCU from a great rennlister and now I need to know how to pull the old one and replace it. So, those of you who have already done so, please instruct me in the way.

Unplug the battery - side. Remove the screws of the DME and so the connector. Replace the DME and install it.
Plug on the battery. Start your engine and let it idle for 20 minutes. DONE

Jason asked about the CCU, not ECU.
There are 4 little holes (2 on each side). Cut a coathanger into a couple pieces so you can make two u-shaped pieces that will be inserted into the holes. Push in to release and then pull the CCU unit out. Disconnect the plugs from the back and repeat in reverse order with the nice 'like new' unit you have to replace it with.
(Glad to see it arrived safely and didn't take too long. Hopefully you will be cool soon.)

Jason, failing the coathangers, you can buy a simple generic radio removal tool, which is really the same thing for about $5 from your local auto/hardware store.
Cheers,

So I have cleaned (with compressed air) both of the CCU's and tried them both, neither one works. By "not working" I mean that the fan comes on but the air that comes out if outside temp or maybe a little warmer? Defrost and heat seem to be working, but its hard to tell since its about 95 degress here in the shade. Is there a possible fault between the CCU and the compressor? Anyway as always your help is priceless....or roughly 75 USD an hour
