Window help and Porsche toolkit question
Hi All,
First post, my window on the passenger side won't close. After reading quite a few posts, I have tried;
- Switching the driver side switches around - still no luck
- There is no clicking sound / so doesn't appear to be stuck
- I have checked the wiring to make sure they are still connected and but will say my next job is to get a 12v tester and see if cables are faulty?
Appreciate any advice anyone may have?
I did read there is a manual way to wind up the window - so at least I can close it for now, though it appears I am missing that hex tool per the porsche manual - anyone know what the Hex tool size so I can get a replacement one in the interim?
Thanks in advance

There was someone on Rennlist who posted about the "thump method", can't find the post though:
Just give the interior panel around the area where the window motor sits a nice thump. Sometimes this helps unblocking the motor mechanism (it did for me actually).

My passenger window was doing that and I use the thump method and seemed to work to raise it up. I did replace the motor about 5 yrs ago. I haven't looked yet but that might be a place for you to start
