Well after some deliberation it is now live on BaT. This car is as good as it gets. Let's see where it ends up.

Already at 150. You’ll do well. The slick top red car fetched ~175 a day before.
Small part of me considering listing mine. Only because I’m now “stuck” with 2 creampuffs and nothing to really beat on with abandon on track.

@jreifler I know exactly how you feel. I think I was happier with a dedicated race or track car and a garage queen for the weekends. Having too many cars that I care too much about spoils the fun. I keep doing this because their values continue going up and I don't want to be priced out if/when I want one! But there are some obligations I have and I am never going to abuse this RSA so I figured I'll try to sell this. After nearly 1.5 years I've put under 300 miles on it.

good luck with your auction OP fetching a good value is just one step into a good sale hoping that the highest bidder is true most dreamer will participate in the hype of bidding but at the end MIA! Good luck!

I have #75 and bought it years ago. Raced it for years and then did a restoration back to a street car in 2020. I’ve had a couple of 911s (1988 3.2 flat back coupe, 1998 C4S, 2007 997GT3) and currently have 2005 996 Cup Car and a 2018 991.2 GT3. The RSA is my favorite car and can’t imagine parting with it. Part of it is that I have a lot of great memories with it, but mostly it’s my favorite car to drive. It’s an absolute analog experience that no car I’ve had, or have now, can duplicate. I can get dusted by any late model Honda at a stop light but nothing comes close to hitting almost all the senses that this car delivers when out for a drive.

I mentioned this on the prices thread, but a pristine white RSA sold for $302k with fees. Is a super low mileage #1 condition example.

The buyer is not going to honor his purchase which is upsetting. However, he also has a GT3 live right now that ends shortly and BaT hasn't cancelled his auction yet which is reprehensible. I have emailed them 3 times and no response. I have been a long time BaT user and this is the first time I have experienced this. Very upsetting.

No he just said he didn't think he would win. BaT will not let me comment on the auction which is utter and complete bull****. How can they allow his sale to go through and not honor his purchase 3 days prior?

I wonder if this is why some of the other sites have become more popular. I’ve seen this a lot on BAT. That and comments from people who will never buy a car or let alone bid, that seem to be aimed at simply derailing an auction.

I cannot comment as BaT is screening my account. They know about the situation but apparently the buyer (and seller f the GT3) is telling BaT he will use the funds to buy my car. He has not replied to my follow up email and clearly stated in no uncertain terms he was not buying my car.
