And about the drivetrain losses, I believe Joey B. said 15% is for a C4 - so 12% is a C2?
well , if my car is a 91 , c2 with metal intakes etc. tottally standard , with 170,000 miles .

and your car is a 1993 , rebuilt to standard 5000 ago , cat by-pass , cup pipe , k+n panel , drilled airbox (all tyhe ussual mods really)

i would imagine an off the shelf chip would perform differently on both cars , depending on the engine it was originally modeled on

Actually, 15% is the common adjustment for C2's. The Porsche tech who ran my dyno test believed 20% was the right number for C4's based on his experience with 996 C4's. He simply compared the Factory spec to his dyno's results to arrive at this conclusion.

If that's the case, my 228.5 dyno number translates to 286 bhp but there are just too many variables to make that leap. When asked, I usually say my cars puts out around 260-270 ... I'd rather people think it was my driving that made me fast.

Do you have a curve of Power vs rpm from the rolling road test or is it to pe posted later too? At what rpm is 295 hp reeached?
