First time for everything I guess - about 3 months ago suddenly I lost power to my CCU unit - nothing on it works!
I checked all threads regarding the no power issue, and no one seems to have this problem.
I have checked all fuses - all is intact.
There is no CCU unit illumination with the rest of the accessories on the dashboard - all other switches and gauges work fine...
I am stumped... any advice?
This could be an internal CCU issue. However, I would start with checking all power supplies first. The CCU have several power supplies and fuses, these can be tested with a voltmeter on the CCU harness connectors:
Pin K1, GND
Pin K2, Terminal 30, permanent +12V, Fuse 1
Pin G17, Terminal 58d instrument lights, Fuse 36
Pin G29, Terminal X, switched +12V, Fuse 28
Pin G35, Terminal 15, switched +12V, Fuse 17
Any problems with power supplies could be due to a poorly assembled T34 connector. This is placed onto/near the right main cabin blower housing, heres a pic of a 993:
Cheers,
Tore
Thank you Tore, I will be checking that next.
I tried to check power on the connectors / terminals like the picture above, but I don't think I understand the procedure correctly and might have not done it correctly.
I was going to do it one, more time this weekend when I have a little more time.

Use a simple testlight found at any automotive parts store, i.e. alligator clip connected to ground (car chassis) and the pointed end at the test points per post #2.
Most likely your problem is a missing one of the three power sources mentioned, and not the CCU itself which rarely fails.
@ Loren - thank you very much for the instructions, they are very much appreciated.
I thought I was doing something wrong using a pretty high-level tester since I was getting 0 volts across all terminals which was weird.
@ToreB you are the "MAN" with your last suggestion - look what I found below:
Thank you all for helping out and @ToreB is the guy to go to regarding all ccu issues for sure!!
Cheers !!
