I stand corrected...I had assumed this was a 3.6 setup, with "regular" factory 3.6 Pist/Cyl.

I still find it odd that these would blow out, given the pressure in four "corners" of the cylinder and the tolerances provided for the mating surfaces...very odd.

Physics has an interesting way of presenting life with it's difficult issues at times.

***Ah, okay...Bill, I have reread the post and the explanation you've give for each pic. I NOW see why the larger diameter cylinders would blow those seals out...there is NO groove provided at the bottom of the finned area like there is on the factory 3.6 cylinders and Christer's 109mm sets.

Therefor the need to make appropriations for seals INSIDE the case spigots.

I did NOT realize that you were showing a picture of what I believe is the "Max Morritz" 3.8 conversion setup. It's funny what I catch the SECOND time I read a post. ***
