This seems like a part ripe for being 3D printed. (although I'm not 3d printing expert). Is that a better alternative than having RUF try and restart production? My guess is the tooling is old and worn and the market is too small now. I'd love one for my Turbo - an even smaller market than the NB cars!

You'd need a very large 3D printer. I think some of the send-away printing services can go that big using stereolithography but I have no idea what they'd charge to print one.

wow, while i gathered these were a sought after part ... but didn't realise the demand was quite that high!

I wonder how many people would be interested if the splitter were to be 'Ruf style' I.E without that logo on ...

I may have a plan here ..
