Default A Quick Reminder....

Sunday - May 2
Cambridge Mass
10AM to 2PM

Don't forget that the reknowned Auther and Rennlister will be holding a TECH Session and book signing at the Bentley Publishers facility! Adrian Streather, author of Porsche 911 (964): Enthusiast's Companion will discuss the Porsche 964 model history and technology. We might convince him to address some other 911 - 993 and overall Porsche topics as well!!!!

To let them know you will be attending - simply pop over here:
http://www.bentleypublishers.com/event-registration.htm

Or - click on the Banner from the front page of Rennlist:
https://rennlist.com

Finally - if you can not attend, but do want an autographed copy by Adrian - please go here:
http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=gp64

And in the ordering notes, just ask for your book to be autographed!

I hope to see you there!!

John D.

Hey Jeff

You are very cheerful these days, and posting often. What's happening?

Well, pretty much I have no life.

Recently my job has put me at a DESK, clad with a LARGE 25" monitor and a T1 connection (that's 56K x 24 baby!) - so what's a guy to do??

It's either that or maybe I'm "gettin' some" lately.

Ya'all Massholes and Maniacs...New Yaukers too better be there or John and Adrian will have you hunted down like DOGS!!

I would drive up, but hey...that's a good 12-13 hrs to Marlboro, I know, been there twice.

...and while the Recaro SRD is a relatively comfortable seat, it's NOT made for more than 2hrs of driving - trust me on that one.

Anybody own a helicoptor, maybe a lierjet?? ...how 'bout TONS of frequent flyer miles to trade in?

Well - for those who didn't make it.. In short - it was TERRIFIC!!!!

It was great to see Adrian & Gail once again, and Adrian did a wonderful job going through some of the 964 (and 993) gremlins. I even had the opportunity to ask my quota of stupid John questions...

As well - a huge thank you to the folks at Bentley! The open house, the atmosphere - and the medical cleanliness of the garage area were amazing. So - to all the folks at Bentley - our thanks for a wonderful day.

And finally - a special thanks to all the Rennlisters who showed up.. I'd say a few words about each of you - but, I'll sneak those in at "opportune moments" as you post to the Forums... It is great to finally put a face to a name for many of you and your "better halfs"....

As for me - I'll cherish the autographed copy of Adrian's book... My personal and sincerest thanks to you Adrian for taking time out of your busy schedule to do this TECH session.. It's more appreciated then you may realize....

My thanks.....

John

Thank you John D. for getting out the invitation to this event. It was great to meet and listen to Adrian. His knowledge of 964's is amazing. I was impressed with Bentley's hospitality (and lack of commercial pressure) and second your thanks to them and all of their staff who were in on a Sunday.

It also was fun to meet other Rennlister's and see their cars (even the 914) and the impromptu show and tell about the cars was informative.

Thanks again to Adrian, John D. and Bentley.
