Smoke!! --- HELP!!!
Help!!!
I just added a quart of oil to top off my car. Also checked the guage and dipstick and oil level is fine.
Then I noticed that my car spitting out blue smoke at idle. Same amount as in the white condensation you get on a cold morning.
I couldn'thave overfilled or dripped oil somewhere?
Any idea?
Also, the plastic piece connecting my rear blower into the engine fan is torn off. Will this cause heating problem?
thanks,
anthony

This morning, everything seemed fine. Pretty much no smoking but once in a while I get a puff when looking in the rear view mirror sitting at a traffic light.

You have a boxer engine. Every cold start ther could come some smaal amount of smoke, because tho oil stays in the cylinders, and will not drop back as a normal non boxer engine. Smoke should be gone after a few seconds.

Thanks Arjan. But my car doesn't smoke on startup besides condensation. I checked that many times.
I smokes when the engine is warmed up.
Today, I saw only the smoking once. I will pull and inspect the plugs this weekend and continue to keep an eye on this.
