Sean,
I don't know how far you're willing to travel, but there is a great mechanic in the Valley (LA).
The shop is called NARW and the owner/mechanic's name is Klaus Holthaus. He's very respected in Los Angeles for his knowledge of early and late 911's.

The address is:
NARW
7355 Canby Ave.
Reseda, CA 91335

Tel. 818.881.1222

I've heard good things about Hergesheimer Motorsport in Lake Forest. You might want to give them a call. I've not used them because Lake Forest is too far for me.

Here's their link http://www.herg.net/

another vote for Hergessheimer, just ask for Mark, the owner. Very nice guy. I've used him on my 993 and C2 Turbo.

Regards,

Sonny

You may want to try Callas Rennsport in Torrance. http://www.callasrennsport.com/contact.htm
It is owned by Tony Callas. Tony's dad, Mike Callas, has one of the best shops in the Houston area.

Oh, you could go to ANDAIL in Santa Ana aswell... I looked around there and have a pretty good idea that you could reckon on them. I don't know how theire prices are, but I guess their not the cheapest in the area.

Are you taking appointments already? Would payment for your service in the form of Starbuck coffee beans be ok?

In that case, I would like to book a appointment for valve adjustments. See you in June.

If you remove your exhaust system, undertray, heat shields, drain the oil and remove the valve covers, clean the whole mess, take care of a adjustment tool and a wrench to cranck the engine on his altenator fan blade screw, a Metric 13 mm and a small screw driver........... then we can talk about a appointment.

Valve adjustment will cost you more then a Starbuck coffee, at least a decent barbecue should do it....
