Default 964 - 965 harness removed clean up and rebuild

Hey Guys,
Porsche did an amazing job on these harnesses. This one came apart nicely.
I'm going to clean my contacts, check for corrosion and re-tape.
What sticky cloth tape do people use on these harnesses? I quickly googled Wurth Cloth Tape and found some. But not sure if it's the proper tape?

I’ve used Tesa and it worked well. 51608 for the interior loom. Looks like they have some other options for the engine compartment, if needed

Spiral looms work really well. High heat ratings, no sticky residue and they easily allow wires to branch off to their accessories. Grainger, etc have them.

Thanks for replying. I'm trying to figure out the dielectric that's needed. Curious about engine noise in the radio. 3M P4 looks like the best but they want to sell 50 rolls at $1300

Ebay just kicked me off because I didn't want to pay 17% sales fee, give them my SS# and accept a 1099 for selling parts. AND give them access to my bank account where they can deposit and pull funds. Total shame what's happened to EBAY. I was hacked last year after 23 years. Guessing the scammers can drain paypal accounts. They are a total mess.
