I'm desperately trying to find an explanation that isn't torque tube bearings for the whining noise I get from the shifter area of my car....
While under the car changing front diff and transaxle oil today, I noticed that the transmission mount looks to be quite far off of "center" for where it would bolt to the frame - does this look normal?
I guess given that each side has the bolts towards the outside of the mounting bracket a similar amount its more or less centered, but its also quite far to the extreme longitudinally....does anyone have a photo of how theirs looks?
