Default OLSEN MOTORSPORTS, CHICAGO & NAPLES PROJECTS

Hey guys! Excited to finally come to Rennlist after many years of admiring this forum. We are located on the west side of Chicago, and also newly expanded to Naples, Florida with our satellite location (opening mid January). Our facility is comprised of predominantly air cooled but we also maintain all other 911's. Specializing in high value collection management and building existing cars into specialized creations we have had the luxury of building and maintaining some really great cars! We are also a service center for JRZ Suspension!

We started our humble workshop in 2015 and have spent the last 7 years perfecting our finishes and process's. We can do period correct restorations on engines as well as customizing anything to match the clients style. Here are some of our engine restorations.

We are here to happily share our processes and contribute by answering any questions. Will keep this thread updated weekly as to what is going on and the next few posts will show our 964 projects!

964 pictures!

Our first attempt at a 964 customization this was the grey car. Built many years ago but one of our favorites!

I know both of those builds well and they are amazing. Congrats on the new facility in FL.

Here is another 964 we literally just finished. Have not had a chance to have it professionally photographed so these are just shot with a phone. Actually headed to the dyno today with it. This was a 160k mile donor car, bare metal paint job in red, full engine restoration and modified to a 3.5L with big turbo. We were able to purchase new Speedline wheels, and narrow the rear track to fit a big deep dish wheel to finish it off.
NARROW TRACK REAR WITH SPEEDLINE WHEELS FINISHED IN WHITE. ALSO PAINTED REAR TAIL IN FLEXIBLE PAINT ON THE RUBBER.

OEM FRONT BUMPER EXTENDED TO MEET THE HOOD AND ELIMINATE THE RUBBER SEAL.

3.5L ENGINE ASSEMBLED

3.5L ENGINE ASSEMBLED

GEARBOX RE STACKED COMPLETELY AND RESTORED

INTERIOR FINISHED

RECARO'S FINISHED WHITE/RED

INTERIOR TOUCHES - RUF STEERING WHEEL - MODIFIED TO FLAT BOTTOM

Southeast Naples, Collier BLVD and Davis. We are under construction and should be ready to open mid-late January!

Update on the red car!

Update on the 3.5L On the dyno last couple of days. Made 499@ 1b of boost to the wheels till we ran out of fuel! Need to get some better volume pumps in it till we can really turn it up. Overall pretty happy with initial numbers!
