Hi All
Does anyone know the measurements for the C4 drive shaft CV boot or have one that they could measure for me?

• Small opening internal diameter?
• Large opening internal diameter?
• Length?
• Width?

I'm looking for an alternative to the OEM rubber boot, was thinking something more versatile like polyurethane...
As I seem to require new boots every 2 years or so due to cracking or actual splits, just got flagged on my service as an advisory to watch.

Small end inside dia = approx 15/16 in or 24mm
Outside dia= approx 1.25 I. Or 32 mm
large end inside dia 2 1/8 approx 55mm
Outside dia = 2 13/16 70 mm
3 3/4 in length or 85 mm

There is a lip inside of large end that protrudes
aprox 1/8 in or 4 mm

Would be interested George in what you find works (and where from in the UK). Have the same C4 problem - anything that avoids a really messy repeating job!

I would also be interested in what you find George, particularly if they are made of polyurethane. I will have a brand new set of the cheap ones arriving here in a week or two from Pelican, and I can confirm dimensions if needed. For an installation that is as tough as this, it would be nice if the boots lasted more than just a few years.

Just realized that not all CV boots are the same size on a C4...
Part numbers and pics below, I'm guessing from the pictures that the dimensions we have are for 92833229302
So can anyone help with the dimensions for 96434929100

Just found a spares site that lists multiple brands of CV boots with the dimensions, a bit of variation in the measurements so I listed the min-max.
Unfortunately all appeared to be made of rubber, so the hunt continues

C2/C4
Height: 80-82mm
Inner diameter 1: 23-24mm
Inner diameter 2: 55-62mm

C4 front outer only
Height: 84mm
Inner diameter 1: 22mm
Inner diameter 2: 83mm
