Default New Steering Wheel...?

Hey guys - would love to see pics of your NON-stock steering wheels - and what model it is.

Might be time to to ditch the factory wheel. I've been hesitant because of the airbag (losing it) but at this point I'm wondering if it's even still functioning properly/good...?

Thanks-

Brandon

Just took out a momo Mod 7 for a Formula steering wheel. Love it.

Custom Momo Mod07 which I ordered direct through Momo.
Went with the premium leather option, white logo and black 12 o-clock marker.

I actually roll with 2 for different occasions made possible by NRG Quick Release 3

OMP Velocita Nero Alcantara for track.
Prototipo for city driving.
Quick release for theft deterrent when parked publicly, which isn't often, if ever.

This is the style that I seem to like...Is there a specific Formula model? Seem to be similar to Ruf..?

Thanks

If you email Rhonda, sometimes they will give a Rennlist discount as well!

While I am predominately a keep it stock guy (visually anyhow) how does everyone find the 350mm wheels for blocking the view of the tacho and speedo?

My experience with the Mod07 is that it does indeed block the upper portion of both the tach and speedo.

Hi eddieB4, which NRG Boss did you use? The only one I can find is too deep in the spline section and you can't get the nut back on the column.

I'm not sure that I understand the question.

On my Momo Prototipo I've fitted a hub eccentric spacer which gives me 3 benefits: Brings wheel slightly closer, allows more clearance for my legs, and raises the top rim slightly. Without rotating the speedo I can see up to the 140kph/85mph mark which is fine for the road. Beyond that you're speeding anyway...

For Momo steering wheel owners, a small petty change for the horn button. Thanks to a fellow Rennlister
