Default Do Cup 1 Wheels fit 89 964 C4?

Hi all, I’m going to apologise in advance as I’m sure this question would have been asked before! I have just procured an 89 964 c4. I am wondering if cup 1 wheels with the following part numbers would fit without spacers... in layman’s terms? 😅 thanks!
965.362.124.00
965.362.128.00

The short answer is yes they do, but careful with a full turn lock as they will rub a little on the inner liner / fender up front without the spacer in the tie rod ends. (Not a wheel spacer, but a disc that limits the turning radius and stops rubbing (steering angle spacer) - not absolutely needed as I have been driving without it for more than a decade now.)

Good luck !!

Ok so this is in the Porsche TSB bulletin # 49106
and the part this is pertaining to:

Porsche Steering Fork Spacer Genuine Porsche 964-347-325-02 96434732502 964.347.325.02 964 347 325 02 | Pelican Parts

The placement is well pictured it this diagram below as # 6 (the price is better too)

Welcome to you and your 964

I drive my 89 C4 with Cup 1 wheels without spacers (and any issue) since 10 years.

Enjoy!

Just don't get cup wheels meant for the 928, at least I think its that one. The fronts on those have an offset of 65mm which will rub the inside.

The 65mm offset wheels are also 7.5" instead of 7". They will fit with a 10mm and look nice with a 15mm spacer BUT you wanted a spacer free application. Also you'd need to change the wheel studs for longer.

thank you. I ended up being advised by alloy wheels direct that I need the 7J x 17 in the front the 8J x 17 in the back...
these are part numbers
96536212401
96536212601

there are apparently two different cup 1 rear wheels!? 8j x 17 and 9j x 17. Do you know which ones you’ve been running?

well I wouldn’t have minded having spacers but in Australia, I can’t get the car road worthied with non factory wheels and spacers. It’s a pain!

Rear wheels are 8" x 17 on my C4.
9" x 17 were made for wide body and are just more expensive/rare.
