It does make some noises over bumpy roads and you can sense some movements as the body is flexing against the somewhat rigid top. I have some troubleshooting to do and I think ongoing maintenance of the seals. I am happy with it but of course it does not make your car a coupe. The prices have been posted above. Would be nice to have a US based dealer.

Do you currently run a strut brace of any form up front?
I found this made a significant improvement in body flex in my 993 C2 cabriolet.

I believe my car is bone stock and original except for the top, wheels and radio.

That really is a good looking piece and makes the car into something especially interesting.

As others mention braces to strengthen a car, I picked up a used Brey Krause harness bar for my 924S project car after seeing photos from a forum bud whose 968 got t-boned really hard - with him in it - by someone nitwit who ran a light. The car was thoroughly totaled but the B-Pillar held up and with it, the space around the driver. Indeed, the EMT’s opined that the B-K bar, i.e., the strength it added between the B-pillars, likely saved his life. Having found one for the 924S, I also picked one up and installed it in my SC coupe. I note this here just as something of a safety consideration, especially for those with Cabriolets.

Best to all, John

Very valid point, should be a standard first upgrade for all (especially cabs). Doesn’t take much and can easily be installed at upper seat belt hanger mount points.

These hardtops look great, it’s unfortunate that they require the removal of the soft top to install. Having owned a couple of Miata’s with hardtops, it’s nice when it’s a 5 minute job.

Wondering if anyone has any updates about their D’Moris hardtop? Any photos will be great.

I am really debating about getting one.

I’m very happy with mine. A couple of complaints about installation but nothing to do with d.Morris (aside from poor instructions).

Wish I had been there to monitor and supervise installation. The glass installer failed to follow instructions and run the wire for rear defrost through the proper hole in the top. So now I have a visible wire. Very annoying since we discussed in detail. Also the rubber trim surrounding the rear window is not cleanly installed. It peels up at each corner. I do not know if this is a fault of the trim piece or poor installation.
