It's Done!

Drove home from the paint shop in the rain. No leaks. It squeaks a little bit at the windshield connection but that is to be expected. Significantly quieter than the soft top and I have to think it feels like a coupe. Have never been in one though... I am very please so far.

Looks like your paint shop did a great job matching the paint which can be a real challenge with older cars.

They really did do a great job all around. I have to find the wires for the glass defog which the glass installer (not the shop team) claims they fed it through the hole, but not sure if I can access it yet. I need to spend some time this weekend detailing the interior trim.

By the way, my shop told me the quality of this top was far superior to the other fiberglass parts they are used to dealing with. Good feedback for d.moris at least from the workmanship perspective. The difficulties in logistics are another story.

Good morning’
I am interested in your project and would like to see your car as others would also. We have a Porsche meet at Beat Culture here in Miami on the second Thursday of the month, that is next Thursday and would like to invite you to join.

so in my search of a 993, I was considering purchasing a 964 or 993 cab due to fairly significant price difference compared to the coupe models. I reached out DMoris and they were very responsive. I've attached the pricing and options PDF files for anyone interested in purchasing one for their 964/993. I think its a great option and could prove to be cost effective if want the coupe look for the cab price.

I ended up purchasing a 993 coupe so obv I will not be needing one.
