Default Pressure Bleeder

Hi all

I purchased a seeley pressure bleeder so I can bleed the brakes. Followed the instructions and built the pressure up to 10psi all of a sudden theres a large gurgling sound and brake fluid is vented via an outlet tube behind the front righthand wheel well. Thought it was a damaged brake line at first but there is a vent tube there. So re tried the process and same thing happened again. If I do the standard bleeding system using a person operating the brakes its fine. So us a brake bleeding pressure tool not suitable for a 964?

Many thanks

You need to put a clamp on the vent tube to stop the fluid coming out of it.
Hope this helps

Yup, definitely clamp the vent line. Other end drops fluid behind the front wheel on to the floor. A set of these clamps are cheap enough.

This https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...procedure.html is invaluable. First picture shows the clamp off. If it makes you feel any better I've forgotten the clamp a couple of times and seen the puddle of doom.

You can upgrade or downgrade depending on your point of view to the 993 reservoir cap which solves the clamping off proceedure.
